Blaze Report 4/20/03

We are tracking a small California "Blaze". Reports are that she is moving along the sidewalks of California at a moderately fast clip. Her directional changes are sudden and her progression is described as bouncing. She is a small "Blaze", 21 inches, weighing in at 54 pounds. She consumes 4 cups of ration daily to sustain her momentum.

She is reportedly traveling without damaging anything in her path. Her clearances have been very good as reported by our correspondent at the scene, who is trailing her closely. The things she does leave behind have been regular from the beginning and should be easily retrieved. She is an unusual "Blaze" in that she responds well to voice.

This is one "Blaze" that brings a smile to everyone who sees her. Terms used to describe her are varied including darker on the ears to a butterscotch color. She is a "Blaze" that should last a long time and no one wants this one to be extinguished any time soon.

There have been several sightings of that little "Blaze" in several cities of California including Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, San Fernando, Los Angeles, Glendale, Valencia, Northridge and Burbank. Washington state residents should be on the lookout for this small "Blaze". Sources tell us that she is certain to leave California as early as tomorrow and completely skip over Oregon. Her next destination is Washington. She may be seen on both the west and the east side of the state.

Research into her past reveals that she was a sturdy little thing. Even as a spark. Sister "Breezy" tried to blow her out and brother "Brogan" tried to stomp her out. She could get things really heated up around there. They were no match for her, though. Soon they were separated and went their separate ways. Recently, within the past few months, there have been "Breezy" encounters again. "Brogan" has also returned to Sylmar, but this time, with much bigger boots. Now, though, she and "brogan are well contained and "Breezy" is an equally controlled presence. They have made a great trio but are soon to be parted again. Each has found a loving partner to care for them and they, in turn, will devote their lives to caring for the partners they have found.
